Hi, I had a robotic myomectomy on 5/14. I was in the ER on 5/16 and 5/17 due to pain and vomiting. I was admitted to the hospital on 5/17, a bowel obstruction was discovered that was a result of one of my surgery incisions not being sewn up. I had to undergo surgery for laproscopic release of of bowel herniation on 5/18. The doctor said that he didn't sew up incisions under 8mm, and has never had a patient suffer issues-until now. He said that going forward he would need to sew up all surgery incisions-regardless of size, due to what happened to me. I was warned that I may need future surgery for herniation again in the future, in which mesh may have to be inserted into affected area. Do I have a potential case that I can sue for?
