Question

I'm a 39 year old male. I was riding my bicycle down the city street. As I went to navigate around a parked car the driver of the vehicle swung her door open and I collided with the edge of her door. I suffered a tear to my bottom jaw of about 2 inches and seriously deep that required 14 stitches. My bicycle has a bent front wheel and the rear wheel is wobbling slightly. I missed 2 days of work. My bicycle is worth about $700. My face is priceless :). I feel like I should be compensated by this woman. Should I just go after the bike and medical costs or should I be looking to get more for my face being scarred?

The bike will be covered under property damage. Your injuries and medical bills will be paid under bodily injury coverage. I would speak with an attorney to see what your options are.
