How long do I have to file a police report for harassment? Two months ago, my ex followed me to my car at my place of employment, yelled and screamed and wouldn't leave me alone when I asked her to leave. I drove away while she was hysterical. She has been texting me and calling me on my phone since. I want to file a police report for the stalking she did 2 months ago in case she starts becoming physically violent. Did I wait too long? Is it too late?

You can attempt to file the report, but the police department may decline to take it. Even if they do accept the report and take your statement, it will be subject to attack as to credibility due to the delay in reporting.
