I obtained a part time job and my employer is threatening to fire me if I don't quit. There is not written policy stating you can't have a part time job and u have never signed any kind of contract staying I would not work anywhere else. Is there anything legally that I can do? Really need to work or r/t economy.

Absent a contract, an employee is considered "at-will" in this country. That said, he can fire someone for any reason that is not prohibited by law, or for no reason at all. That means he cannot fire you because of age, race, gender, etc, but it does not limit a person from firing you for working two jobs. I know it isn't the answer you were hoping for, sorry.

No attorney client relationship is established until a written agreement stating such is signed by both parties. Any information obtained from this or other websites is for educational or promotional purposes only.
