Question

I'm a marketing consultant that was hired to create a website for a new client. Before I began work I had the client sign a document that: - Outlined the cost - Explained the payment terms (half up front, half when site goes on client's server) - Let me create the site as I wanted for the client The client made the initial payment and I began work. Now the site is almost finished but the client has blocked access to the server I was working on and states that he's not happy with the site and refuses to pay the remaining fee. The client has also threatened to sue me for damages if I pursue legal action. I'd like to finish the site and get paid, but if I can't finish it I'd still like to get paid the full amount. Legally, who is in the right here?
