Question

My girlfriend recently caused a minor fender bender. The car she hit was barely damaged while her car was totaled. The person she hit had no physical injuries resulting from the wreck but claimed workers comp etc. Now he is filing a lawsuit against her for "mental issues" and for ruining his future but still has no injuries and no medical records/data to back up these claims. What kind of chance does he have of winning this lawsuit?

I can't really answer this question without getting into much more detail than you have set out here. My best advice would be for her to turn the matter over to her insurance company and let them handle it. They will assign a lawyer to her file and pay any settlement or judgment up to the limits of the policy. Good luck.
