I got charged with a felony and hired a lawyer last week. Over the weekend I found out my lawyer recently got charged with a DUI. How does this affect me? Should I find a new lawyer? What should I do? I am located in Florida USA. Thank you

Your lawyer's arrest does not necessarily affect you or your case at all. He or she is still licensed to practice law and as long as he or she is not in jail, they can still handle your case. However, if you no longer feel comfortable with their representation you can absolutely hire another attorney.
