Question

While vacationing at the beach my son dropped his phone on the beach and didnt realize until the next day the phone was missing. Through our carrier records we were able to confirm that the phone had been found. The person that found the phone used it to make a call and send a few text messages. We believe that the person that found the phone threw it away when he realized we were tracking it. My question is can we take legal action against the person who found the phone? Would it be worth our time to pursue the matter?

Most likely not worth the time to pursue unless there is are large damages that occurred as a result.
