I was walking my dog last week in my apartment complex. He was leashed. Another resident had a dog in the pool area unleashed. The unleashed dog attacked my dog and injured him and also grazed my hand. Dogs are not allowed to be off their leashes at anytime. I have filed a police report with my complex. What should my next step be?

It's important to document this attack with both animal control and the police. Take photo the wounds and take your dog to the vet for a check-up, some injuries can be far more severe than they might look.
