If I receive an extension of an appearance date for traffic court, is my "bail" due on the original appearance date or on the extended appearance date? This is for Los Angeles County, and my ticket is a 22350VC.

They usually don't require someone to post bail to change the date for their first appearance which is referred to as the arraignment. The clerk will probably require you to sign a promise to appear for the new date. Some LA courts have a policy in place requiring defendants to post bail when they set their traffic case for trial.
