I "friend" who is no longer a friend anymore because their drama got me attacked in a night club was continuously harassing me. I reported them to their job for their cocaine use and suggested the company looked further into it. Could they sue me for defamation of character? I wrote it anonymously through their website but he says he's tracked it back to me and now is threatening to contact my employer on information in which is unknown.

Anyone can try to sue for anything he wants. The question is: will a judge hear it? How has this person been defamed? How can he prove it? What are the monetary damages? Is his reputation so damaged that he cant make a living anymore? To win, he'll have to prove that what you said was untrue, written with malicious intent, and caused serious injury, financially, usually.
