Question

My Daughter is incarcerated till 2014 and is in the process of being Divorced. My question is this. Are their any rights for grandparents to see grandchildren (Missouri). I have kept a log of visitations since January and have seen the children 3 times. The Husband feels it is our fault for our daughters decisions. We just love the children. Thanking you for tour time.

If the parents are divorced (or one party has filed for divorce), you may very well have a case to argue grandparents visitation rights. These rights are not guaranteed, but are at the discretion of the Court. Missouri is more lenient than other states when it comes to grandparents' visitation rights, so I'd contact a local attorney to discuss intervening the divorce proceedings on your behalf to demand some type of visitation for you two. If you live in the St. Louis area, I'd be happy to speak with you more in depth on this matter.
