Question

If my brother has never lived at my home, but has some belongings in my garage which i agreed to let him store there for a few weeks. It has past the time agreed , so how much notice must I give to him before I dispose of his things? I want it out ASAP and he is in another state and it's undetermined when he will return. I advised him to have his wife place it in storage, but how much time am I required to give them before I can legally put it out? Thank you for any insight you have for me, Karlin McGrew

There is no hard and fast time required by law in your situation. However, I would say 30 days is more than reasonable. Make sure you put the notice in writing.
