Question

my brother owns a multiple businesses and i went to college in my favorite trade, computer networking/ repair. my brother owns a popular repair shop, so he hired me as a regular technician, allot happened in a year, and i got fired after a year of employment, not to mention that i haven't gotten my final pay check, this is the main question. my brother has all of my tools of the trade up at the shop and a few of my personal things, i have receipts and whiteness of the people that gave them as gifts, (our mother and father) I have been verbally asking him to give me these things the whole year! he just says he will try, but let's face it, they are only at my desk,and it's been nearly a year!!! he's using my personal things for shop profit what can i do legally? i just want my things back !!?? isn't that stealing !!??? doesn't that violate some law.

You can sue him for conversion, an order for return of the materials, and damages in a civil action. You can also make a police report for theft by conversion.
