Christy is an attorney with the Sanchez Law Firm, P.A., where she primarily practices in the areas of Civil Litigation, Insurance law, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense and Construction Litigation. Christy graduated from Titusville High School in 1995. She thereafter attended Florida Southern College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminology. While at Florida Southern College, she received a scholarship to attend the "Justice Semester" at the American University in Washington, DC. There she studied politics as it relates to the criminal justice system. After graduation, she attended Stetson University College of Law, where she was the recipient of the William F. Blews-Pro Bono Award which was the result of her volunteer work with the Clearwater Public Defender’s Office. During that period of time, Christy studied International Law overseas in numerous international studies programs. She studied in Madrid, Spain with the William & Mary School of Law and throughout Western and Eastern Europe with the University of Pittsburgh Law School. Christy is fluent in Spanish and has studied Legal & Business Spanish in Central America at the Centro Linguistico De La Fuente, Antigua, Guatemala; and at the University of Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Mexico. Christy graduated in 2003 and began her career working at the 18th Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office, defending the indigent in the Sanford, Titusville and Viera offices. Prior to forming Sanchez Law Firm, P.A., Christy worked with Gray- Robinson, P.A. in their civil litigation department where her practice focused primarily in insurance defense, corporate defense and civil trials. She enjoys litigating, and especially enjoys doing jury trials. However, when not at work, she enjoys being with her family, playing with her Great Dane “Ceaser”, riding her motorcycle, and playing sports. Presently, Christy is serving as a Director of the Brevard County Association for Women Lawyers, Treasurer of the Brevard County Young Lawyers Association, and Board Member of the Brevard County Red Cross. Christy is also a member of the following organizations: Junior League of South Brevard, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and Tiger Bay and is licensed to practice law in all Florida State Courts; Middle District of Florida Federal Court and the Southern District of Florida Federal Court.
